The Advice Sisters WHAT WORKS Beauty, Cosmetics and Fashion Review columns were one of the most popular features of The Advice Sisters web site from 1998 to early 2011, when I changed to WordPress and more of a magazine format for advicesisters.com with daily original editorial reviews, reports and articles.
After more than two decades online, to keep up with the demands of the modern internet and social media, I had to switch from using Front page and HTML to WordPress. Then I changed the primary domain of The Advice Sisters Web Site from advicesisters.net to what it is today: advicesisters.com. As a result, a lot of the content from the original years of The Advice Sisters web site was lost or had to be removed.
Fortunately for beauty fans, most of the WHAT WORKS columns are, for the most part, still alive and intact online. There are dozens and dozens of product reviews on every column, by month and theme. I tested literally thousands of products in every single column, many of which are still on the market today.
If you are seeking something specific, you can use the search box in the lower left hand column of the archives, below, to find individual companies and products that were on these many, many review columns.
What Works was a lot of work. While I urge you to visit advicesisters.com on a daily basis to find the latest reports, reviews and articles I am posting, please enjoy perusing these archived columns, and hopefully find even more products to consider to make life easier, more successful, more satisfying, and more beautiful!
